  • Exploring Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities – A Treasure Trove in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Exploring Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities – A Treasure Trove in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge In between the bustling alleys of Black Spire Outpost  on the planet Batuu lies one of the most intriguing places in all of Walt Disney World in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities . If you're a fan of Star Wars lore or just love digging into the immersive storytelling Disney is famous for, this is a must-stop destination. First Impressions: A Collector's Paradise Even before you step inside, the Den sets the tone. Outside the curved, stone-washed building, you’ll spot a unique statue of a robed figure offering up a glowing orb, perhaps a tribute to the Force or a long-forgotten sage. Surrounding it are weathered crates, cargo bins, and ancient-looking artifacts that whisper of countless intergalactic journeys. Once inside, prepare to be amazed. The interior is dark and moody, with dim lighting provided by a stunning chandelier of mismatched lanterns that looks like it came straight off a smuggler’s ship. Every inch of the walls is filled with relics—blasters, helmets, holocrons, ancient scrolls, and more. It's overwhelming in the best possible way. Meet Dok-Ondar Dok-Ondar himself is a towering Ithorian , known for his deep knowledge of galactic antiquities. You’ll find him behind a caged counter, carefully tending to his shop and conducting business. He doesn’t speak much directly to guests, but his animatronic movements are mesmerizing, and the sounds of his gravelly voice occasionally echo through the den. He’s more than just a cool animatronic, Dok is a Star Wars character, known for dealing in rare and mysterious artifacts. His presence really ties the whole place together. The Artifacts: What You’ll Find If you’re a Star Wars fan, this is your treasure chest. Items in Dok-Ondar’s Den include: Legacy Lightsabers  from legendary Jedi and Sith like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Ahsoka Tano, and Count Dooku Kyber Crystals  in various colors to customize your lightsaber or holocrons Sith and Jedi Holocrons —interactive artifacts that light up and reveal secrets Mandalorian and Imperial memorabilia Rare busts, wall carvings, and replica creatures (hello, taxidermied wampa and baby sarlacc!) You might even catch a glance at a tank holding a massive tentacled creature—definitely one of the more unnerving “souvenirs.” Shopping Tips While some items here are display-only, there’s plenty you can  buy. The Legacy Lightsabers  are a top seller, and you’ll find some rare hilts that aren’t available anywhere else in Batuu. Prices can range significantly depending on the item, so budget accordingly if you plan to bring a piece of Star Wars home with you. Keep an Eye Out for the Details One of my favorite parts of this shop is just how much storytelling is packed into every nook. Look up, down, and all around—above the shop floor are cages with alien creatures, including a sly little dianoga that blinks back at you from a murky tank. Every shelf tells a story. Every crate feels like it’s just been smuggled in from the Outer Rim. Final Thoughts Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is more than just a store it’s an actual experience. Whether you're there to purchase a lightsaber or just soak in the atmosphere, it’s a must-visit corner of Galaxy’s Edge. With its moody lighting, rich backstory, and endless details for lore-lovers, this shop feels like walking right into the Star Wars universe.
